Canadian Media: Air Canada flight 33 from Toronto to Sydney, Australia, via Vancouver has landed in Honolulu after being diverted, reportedly due to severe turbulence. At least 25 people suffered minor injuries. More details awaited.
One died and 17 people were injured following a landslide in Bheemli area, earlier today. Injured have been admitted to hospital. A mule also died in the incident.
A car bomb detonated near a church in the Kurdish-majority city of Qamishli in northeast Syria on Thursday wounding almost a dozen people, an AFP journalist and state media said.

BSF: On intervening night of 10/11 July a group of approx 25 smugglers from Bangladesh made a forcible attempt to smuggle about 10-15 cattle into Bangladesh through Border Out Post-Angrail near Bangaon, 64 Bn BSF, 24 Parganas (North). BSF troops deployed intercepted and challenged. They directed high beam light on BSF Constable Anisur Rehman & lobbed one country made bomb which blasted near him. The Constable fired one round of non-lethal PAG gun towards smugglers. Smugglers lobbed another country made bomb towards him which blasted on his right hand. Consequently, due to blast right hand of the Jawan sustained grievous injury and one bicycle which was kept nearby was also damaged badly due to powerful blast. Many pellets of bomb also pierced in his body which have affected his lungs, liver and stomach. Constable Anisur Rehman was evacuated to Govt Hospital Bangaon & later to Medica Hospital, Kolkata. His right hand was amputated. However, as per intelligence report, one Bangladeshi smuggler had sustained injury but managed to flee away to Bangladesh.
