An avalanche hit the village of Khandiyal close to Army Camp in Dawar, in Jammu and Kashmir's Gurez at 9 pm yesterday. A total of 18 houses were completely damaged & 28 houses suffered partial damage. No loss of human life & livestock took place due to timely action by the Avalanche Rescue Team.

In the wake of mounting international pressure to act against terrorists following Pulwama terror attack, Pakistan has imposed a ban on two outfits of UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed.
