American standup comedian and actor Bill Cosby has been convicted of drugging and molesting a woman 14 years ago, reported news agency AFP.

On Wednesday, a special court on Wednesday sentenced disgraced “godman” Asaram Bapu to life imprisonment till death for raping a teenage girl at his ashram. The father of Shahjahanpur victim thanked everyone who supported the family in the fight for justice. Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Ghulam Nabi Patel was killed yesterday afternoon after terrorists opened fired.

It comes as a good news as Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh suggested that the Kharif season this year would witness favourable produce, in lieu of suitable climatic conditions. Senior Supreme Court advocate Indu Malhotra on Wednesday became the first woman lawyer to be elevated as as a judge of the apex court.
