Principal Secretary (Home) Arvind Kumar on Wednesday said that the Unnao Rape case has been transferred to CBI. "The charges against rape-accused BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar haven't been proved and hence Police cannot arrest him", OP Singh, UP DGP said. He further added saying that the case has been transferred to CBI and it would be their call to arrest him.

FIR has been registered against Unnao Rape accused BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar. BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, has also been charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
On Wednesday, Allahabad High Court (HC) took suo-moto notice of Unnao rape, death. In addition to it, the Court also ordered victim's father's body to be kept in custody and not be cremated.
