Gurgaon, Jan 25: Alleged members of the Karni Sena resorted to stone-pelting on a school bus in Gurgaon ferrying school children as young as 4-year-old. A 13-second clip of the 4-minute ordeal went viral on social media, evoking sharp response from the people.
The school bus targeted by the protesters was ferrying students, along with three staff members, of the GD Goenka World School of Sohna. In the video shared below, students could be seen terrified and laying low inside the bus.

Gurgaon Police PRO Manish Sehgal confirmed the incident, saying a probe would be conducted to nab the accused. The video going viral on social media would also be examined, he told reporters on Wednesday.
The GD Goenka School prevented its other buses to ferry students back home after being informed of the attack. The students were provided snacks and kept inside the premises, said the school principal, adding that they were left only after their parents arrived to take them.
As a precautionary measure, the GD Goenka School, along with 10 others, have decided to remain shut today.
Gurgaon Police Commissioner Sandeep Khirwar assured action against the protesters who targeted the school bus, saying, "such violation of law and order will not be tolerated". He further assured that the police would prevent incidents of arson on Thursday.
