Kanpur, August 1: In another tragic incident of a building collapse, a three-storey building collapsed this morning in Hulaganj. No casualties have been reported yet, and four people have been rescued so far. Police and fire department are present at the spot, as per an ANI report. More details on the same awaits. Similar incident happened in Madhya Pradesh two days back, when a two-storey building collapsed in Vidisha. Over the last one month, there has been a tremendous increase in building getting collapsed all over the country.

Earlier this month, in Greater Noida, two buildings had collapsed. Reportedly, the death toll shot up to around 10, and several were injured in it. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced compensation of Rs 2 lakh each for the next of kin of those killed in the incident. The Chief Minister also announced Rs 50,000 each for those injured.
A week back, after a five-storey building collapsed near Missal Gadi in Akash Nagar area, seven people were severely injured in it. According to previous reports, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team recovered one body from the site while the rescued ones were sent to the nearby hospital.
