Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), April 09: Journalist Anuj Chaudhary who was shot at by unidentified men at his house here was shifted to intensive care unit (ICU) on Monday as his condition continues to be critical. Anuj, who works for a Hindi news channel, was attacked on Sunday. According to police, the initial investigation showed the personal enmity being the reason behind the shootout.
Anuj Chaudhary works for Hindi news channel Sahara Samay, says a report in CNN News18. The journalist was shot twice and was critically injured. More details on the same are awaited but the police suspect it as a matter of personal enmity between the attackers and scribe. More information on the same is being awaited. Chaudhary is currently admitted in the Yashoda Hospital. He is a resident from Rajapur village in Ghaziabad.
The increasing attacks on scribes, is really worrisome. In the past, there have been several incidents, which throw light on the condition of journalists and their security in the country.
