Mumbai, September 18: The Education Department in the state in an attempt to digitise the teacher training programme is hosting online sessions for teachers of Class 1 and VIII. According to a Times of India report, these sessions will be telecasted to schools through DD’s free DTH service and Jio TV mobile app. Reliance AGM 2018: Net Profit Up By 20.6%, Jio Usage Doubled To 240 Crore GB In One Year, Says Mukesh Ambani.

As per a circular issued to schools, teachers will have to view the training session for the subjects they teach. The training session will be held between September 24 and 28. Teachers, however, are concerned about the poor connectivity hampering the session.

A school principal as quoted in the report feels that the need for such sessions is at the start of the academic year, and not four months after the school has started.
