New Delhi, October 23: Jet Airways has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, for not being able to pay the salary of their employees on time, to reporting huge losses and being in a bad financial shape, the airline is in the middle of severe controversy. According to the latest Economic Times report, Jet Airways has asked banks for a moratorium on loans and has asked for fresh funds to ease the cash crunch situation which they are facing.
The report further highlights that the airline has already grounded more than a dozen planes as part of a review of its domestic routes that are not profitable. In September, more than 30 out of 166 passengers on board experienced nose and ear bleeding, as the cabin crew forgot to select the switch to maintain cabin pressure. The passengers who were affected suffered partial deafness in the fiasco.
