JEE Main Examination Results 2018 Declared: Google Now Gives Direct Access to Exam Scores Online Apart From cbseresults.nic.in
JEE Main Examination Results 2018: Candidates are required to enter only their roll number and date of birth to check the scores online.
New Delhi, April 30: The Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main) results were declared on Monday evening by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). In a major convenience for candidates who attempted the exams, Google has partnered with the CBSE to provide exam results directly.
This prevents the students from logging onto unofficial and unreliable websites which do not carry the exam results. Most news websites end up dominating the search trends, hindering the students from organically reaching the official CBSE website - cbseresults.nic.in.
Here is the new feature introduced by Google which allows the results to be viewed directly, rather than logging on to other websites:
Candidates are required to enter only their roll number and date of birth to check the scores online. The result would be displayed in a flash, unlike the time taken by the official websites to load the scorecard.
We are collaborating with Google for the smooth dissemination of results through an easy and secure platform," Rama Sharma, Senior Public Relations Officer, CBSE, said in a statement.
The new feature will remain intact only for a short duration, clarified Google.
"With over 260 million students enrolled in more than 1.5 million schools across India, we believe having reliable, seamless, and safe access to education-related information is crucial," said Shilpa Agrawal, Product Manager, Google Search.
