Bihar, November 19: In connection with the IRCTC scam, Lalu Prasad Yadav, appeared through video conferencing before Delhi's Patiala House Court today.  The latest update, according to an ANI report is

CBI case hearing has been adjourned by Delhi's Patiala House Court for December 20. Yadav will have to appear again before the court on that day through video conferencing. Court has directed CBI to make all arrangements of video conferencing. Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav have already got bail. According to PTI report, Lalu, who is serving jail term in fodder scam cases, has deteriorated due to a festering boil on his right leg. His sugar level and blood pressure have shot up in the last two to three days due to the boil. The dose of his insulin has been increased to bring down the sudden rise in sugar level. Sources close to Yadav have revealed that he is facing difficulty in walking and going to the washrooms due to the boil. Convicted in the Rs 900-crore fodder scam, the RJD chief surrendered before a special CBI court in late August, following the Jharkhand High Court's refusal to extend his bail on medical grounds.

In September, Lalu Yadav was shifted to a paying ward of the RIMS as he was having sleepless nights due to the incessant barking of dogs near the super speciality ward of the hospital.
