Rome2rio –a Melbourne-based multimodal travel planning site – has come out with its Global Flight Price Ranking report. The data has been analysed by taking into account, the economy-class airfares displayed by Rome2rio during the first two months of this year, totalling some 1.5mn price points, across international, and domestic carriers. The report also has some tips about booking air tickets.
In the list, two Indian carriers IndiGo and Air India Express have made it to the top five most affordable airlines in the world. Some of the other Indian airlines in the list are-Jet Airways at the 12th spot and Air India Limited at the thirteenth spot.

Among the top 10 cheapest airlines are- Air Asia X, Air India Express, Indonesia AirAsia, Primera Air, IndiGo Airlines, Etihad, Ryanair, Qantas, WOW air and Virgin Australia. Oman Air, Jet Airways, Air India Limited, Srilankan Airlines, Qatar Airways, Hainan, Kuwait Airways, AirAsia Phillippines, Royal Brunei Airlines, and China Southern Airlines are in the 11-20th spot in the chart of the world's cheapest airlines.
