Woman Falls-Off Moving Local Train at Kurla Station in Mumbai, Alert Passengers Saves Her Life, Watch Video

Mumbai, May 24: Accidents and loss of human life in jam-packed Mumbai Local trains seem to be a never-ending saga. In a recent incident, a woman falls off and gets dragged further while boarding the train at Kurla station. Fortunately, she was saved in the nick of time. She was trying to board the train with her kids.  But the train starts and she loses her grip and falls face down.

As she slips and dragged further on the platform, the alert passengers standing on rush to help her. The two men pull her to safety and save her life. The entire horrifying incident is captured in the CCTV video camera which was on the platform.

The shocked woman was given some water by passengers, who instead of standing like a mere spectator bravely rescued her. Later, the railway police were called for woman's help. The woman was worried for her small toddlers who were left all alone in the train were united by police with their mother According to a The Times of India news report, the police informed the station master about the whereabouts of children who later boarded the train and escorted them back to Kurla station. The mother after seeing her children safe and unhurt thanked the railway police.

Though after several news stories been reported, the pain of fellow passengers seems to be falling on deaf ears. Hardly any action is being taken to reduce the rush in local trains. The trains which are also popularly called as the life-line of Mumbaikars have ironically put the life of commuters in danger as every day we get to hear some or other news about accidents. Fortunately, this didn't turn out to be one among the countless tragic railway accidents we get to hear about.
