The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) Results 2018 has been declared and available for students on its official website vit.ac.in. The VIT is a graduate-level entrance examination that is conducted every year for admission to various UG courses offered within the VIT campuses. The students who appeared for the exam can directly download the results from vtop11.vit.ac.in/viteeereults/ link. Also, the students can check their result by entering their 10-digit application number, date of birth and verification provided on the page. After entering all the details, the candidates will have to click on submit button. Once the result is displayed online, they can download or take a printout of the same for further reference.
The candidates who had provided their mobile numbers at the time of registration got an alert on their registered numbers as soon as the results were out. However, those students who had appeared for the VITEEE 2018, and yet to check their results can visit VITEEE official website vit.ac.in. Around 3 lakh students applied with 33,319 applications received from Andhra Pradesh, 23,664 from Uttar Pradesh, 20,377 from Maharashtra, 18,937 from Telangana and 16,824 from Tamil Nadu.
After the declaration of the results, a merit list will be prepared and based on this merit list the candidates will be called for counselling round. The list of (copy of) documents required for it are: Class 12th Marksheet (those who haven’t received it yet, can submit their Admit Card); Date of Birth Proof; VITEEE 2018 Result; Admit Card; Counselling Admit Card; Demand Draft of Rs 50,000; Community Certificate.
The VITEEE 2018 was conducted between April 4 to April 15, earlier this month. While, the VITEEE results 2018 were expected to be announced on April 25, 2018, but it got delayed due to some unknown reasons. The admissions to various B.Tech branches is offered to the students who clear VITEEE entrance exam, at VIT campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Amravati and Bhopal.
