Vicky Kausha's next project has been super under the wraps. All we knew for the longest time, thanks to Vicky, that it was a horror film. Later on, we learnt that Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is making the film. Reports of Bhumi Pednekar's cameo increased the chatter around the film. On June 8, the Dharma Productions finally hinted at this horror film. They announced that the title and the cast of the film will be revealed on June 10. They also revealed this movie will be the beginning of a new "franchise of fear". Excitement, through the roof. Now, if the latest reports are to be believed, we have our hands on the title of the film before the makers could reveal it.

As per a report by Pinkvilla, the movie's title is Bhoot. Quite basic. Right? Well, that is what the makers aimed for. Yes, that's the title of the film. They wanted to keep it as basic as that," the entertainment portal quoted a source as saying. Akshay Kumar Out, Vicky Kaushal in LOL: Land Of Lungi?

Bhoot was also the title of a hit film by Ram Gopal Verma, for which Urmila Matondkar won a Filmfare. The official Instagram page of Dharma Productions had earlier dropped a hint about the title of the film. "You have heard it before but this time it is coming in a new avatar," one of their story posts read. Regarding the story of the film, Dharma hinted, "It is visibly invisible," Other details of the film include that it will be set on a ship laying still at the beach. The tagline "Sea you soon," by Dharma also adds to the theory.

In the past, Dharma Productions had made Kaal with Ajay Devgn, which was in the horror zone. It has taken a long time for the production house to come around the horror genre once again. Also, let us not forget that Karan Johar will be directing a segment in Netflix's horror anthology, Ghost Stories.
