UPSC Prelims Result 2024: Civil Services Preliminary Examination Results Out at upsc.gov.in, Know Steps To Check List of Qualified Candidates

Mumbai, July 1: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the Civil Service (Preliminary) Examinations 2024 results today, July 1. Candidates who appeared for the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) examinations can visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in to check their results. Those who have qualified in the Civil Services preliminary examinations can proceed to the UPSC CSE Mains 2024 stage.

"The candidature of these candidates is provisional. In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024." the commission said. Steps to Check UPSC CSE Prelims Results 2024:

  • Visit UPSC's official website at upsc.gov.in.
  • On the homepage, click on the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Result 2024 link.
  • A new page will open.
  • Enter using your details and other credentials.
  • Your UPSC CSE Prelims exam results will be displayed on the screen.
  • Check the result thoroughly.
  • Take a printout for future reference.

The UPSC CSE Prelims examination consisted of two papers of Objective type (multiple choice questions) and carried a maximum of 400 marks. Additionally, it also included the total qualifying marks for the General Studies Paper-I of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination. The UPSC is trying to fill 1,056 vacancies in the central government services and departments through the UPSC Civil Services 2024 examination. These include the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), the Indian Police Service (IPS), and the Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
