Two Security Personnel Injured in Ongoing Encounter in Pulwama
Two jawans have been injured in an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district of Jammu and Kasmir on Monday
Pulwama, April 30: Two army men including an officer have been injured in an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district of Jammu and Kasmir on Monday. Joint Operation is launched by the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Jammu and Kashmir police. According to the police, the two injured soldiers of Army’s 44 Rashtriya Rifles were shifted to 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar for treatment. The encounter broke out in Drubgam area of Pulwama.
Around two to three terrorists are expected to be trapped in the area including. top Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Sameer Tiger. According to media reports, more troops have been rushed to the place after locals have started pelting stone at security forces.
On April 24 four terrorists were killed in an encounter that broke out in Lam village of Tral in Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir. Two security personnel were also martyred in the encounter. Around 60 terrorists have been killed so far in 2018, whereas close to 30 security personnel laid down their lives.
