Truck Collides With Tempo in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh: Road Rage Accident Kills 8 People, Injures 5
The mishap saw 9 people lose their lives on the spot and 6 others were critically injured. The injured people were rushed and admitted to the nearby district hospital.
Mumbai, March 22: In another road rage accident in recent times, a truck and a tempo collided in Pratapgarh, in Uttar Pradesh on Friday. The extreme accident saw 8 people die and 5 more were injured.
The unfortunate incident took place in the village of Fatanpur in Pratapgarh. As per the reports in a Hindi Daily, Regional Officer Dutt Mishra said that a group of people, belonging to Jaunpur, were heading to a temple to offer prayers when the accident took place.
The group of people was travelling in a tempo and was to offer prayers in a temple situated in Subantha. However, a speeding truck bumped into the tempo at Jaganpur crossroads on the National Highway that caused the fatal accident.

There was a hullaballoo at the spot of the accident. The injured people in the accident were being taken care of as the reports last came in. More details on the incident are awaited.
