Train services between Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Vadala Road Harbour Station were suspended today morning around 7.30 am according to Central Railways. The reason for the suspension of services was a technical one, tweeted the Central railways. The suspension of services came at an hour when office goers travel in large numbers for making it to their workplace. Thursday being a weekday also added to the woes of commuters who were left stranded due to the technical glitch in locals on harbour line.

However, services have been restored and have returned to normal after technical glitch was resolved, tweeted the railways. However, there will be delay in the train timings.
UP harbour services from Vadala Road to CSMT restored. However, there will be some delay. Total normalization of services will be ensured soon. Inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.

The Central Railways requested the BEST to run additional buses to lesser the inconvenience caused to commuters.
On our request, BEST is running additional buses. Harbour services between CSMT and Vadala Road will soon be restored.

The services have been restored and the trains are now running. However there is delay in the services. Commuters are advised to be updated about the timings of local on the harbour route.
