Mumbai, August 9: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the exam dates for SSC CGL 2024 Tier 1 examination on Thursday, August 8. Candidates who will be appearing for the SSC Combined Graduate Level examination or SSC CGL 2024 can visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in to check the exam schedule. As per the notice issued by the commission, the SSC CGL Tier 1 2024 exams will begin from September 9 and end on September 26.
The Commission said that the Combined Graduate Level Examination or SSC CGL 2024 Tier I exam will be held from September 9 to 24. "The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular intervals for further updates," the notice read. The Staff Selection Commission is aiming to fill nearly 17,727 vacancies through the recruitment drive. Earlier, the commission had said that the verification of documents will be done by the user departments after the declaration of final results. Applicants must note that the minimum qualifying marks in the examination is 30 per cent for unreserved, 25 per cent for OBC and EWS candidates and 20 per cent for all other categories candidates'. The SSC also said that the maximum percentage of errors allowed (minimum qualifying standards) is 20 per cent for unreserved, 25 per cent for OBC and EWS candidates and 30 per cent for all other categories.
