Shatrughan Sinha, rebel Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, in what seems to be a veiled attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, launched another set of verbal volleys through his official Twitter account. Known for his notoriety and an unfavourable attitude towards the party high-command, the MP from Patna Sahib had a word of advice for PM Modi in his series of tweets.
The motor-mouth BJP leader also schooled the Prime Minister with some fact-checks in context of history. Sinha began by saying that he was addressing a speech in Baghpat near Kairana constituency, where people were anticipating forthcoming results of the bypolls. Read Shatrughan Sinha’s first tweet here:
Addressing a speech in Baghpat near Kairaina where people are rejoicing & expecting golden results of the bye elections, despite hurdles created by our people & inspite of arrogance & EVM machines. Just before elections, some might also see it as violating code of conduct..1>2

Surprisingly, Sinha sang a word of praise or two to PM Modi, before he went correcting him in the series of tweets. Read Shatrughan Sinha’s second tweet praising the Prime Minister, here:
You have every institution working for you. They say rules could be different for different people. Nevertheless in the name of development & progress it's a great step forward in dedicating the first phase, a 9 km stretch of the 14 lane Delhi-Meerut Highway to the nation...2>3

It was his third tweet, in which the change of events took place. Sinha said that the Indian history, to an extent is ambiguous. Nonetheless, he went on to correct PM Modi in a series of tweets. Read Shatrughan Sinha’s tweet thread schooling PM Modi here:
You have every institution working for you. They say rules could be different for different people. Nevertheless in the name of development & progress it's a great step forward in dedicating the first phase, a 9 km stretch of the 14 lane Delhi-Meerut Highway to the nation...2>3

Shatrughan Sinha ended his barrage of tweets with a smartly-induced satire in it. He said, “The nation believes you & you are the PM of our country. The world watches us closely. So Sir, Honourable PM, I humbly request you to kindly take your research team to task for briefing you wrongly. Such faux pas/blunders are not to be accepted.” Read Shatrughan Sinha's hideous advice to the PM:
* You said no Congress leader went to meet Bhagat Singh when he was imprisoned... though our Nation builder of the highest order Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru met him, in Aug '29.
* Takshila is actually in Pakistan, but if I have to believe my PM, it is in Bihar.

Another Fact-check by Shatrughan Sinha:
* Gen. Cariappa retired in 1953. Yet you said Nehru humiliated this war hero in 1962.
* Defence Minister Krishna Menon's tenure was from 1957-61. Baldev Singh was minister from 1946-52. So it wasnt possible for him to humiliate Gen Thimayya as you declared, during that period.3>4

Shatrughan Sinha's Last of the Barrage of Tweets he Posted in the Noon:

Earlier in the day, the BJP barely secured a victory in only two of the 14 seats that went to bypolls recently. Out of the 14 seats, four were of Lok Sabha and 10 seats were of different states. However, the BJP managed to emerge victorious in only two (Palghar – Lok Sabha and Tharali – Assembly Election) constituencies.
