Samsung Launches New Galaxy A6, A6+, J6 and J8 Smartphones in India; Prices Start From Rs 13,990

Enhancing its product portfolio, Samsung today has launched the four new smartphones in the country today under the A series and J series.

Samsung, a leading smartphone maker today officially launched four new smartphones in the country with infinity display under A and J Series. With Samsung’s signature Infinity Design philosophy, the new A and J series smartphones proffers the users with approximately 15 percent more display area without any increasing the size of the device. Designed to impress, all four smartphones sports Samsung’s Super AMOLED display technology for producing deeper contrasts. Talking about the new Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones, the new A6 comes with metal unibody and sleek design featuring 6-inch FHD+ display whereas the Galaxy A6 gets a 5.6-inch HD+ display. Moreover, Galaxy J series smartphones features a premium polycarbonate unibody wherein J8 handset gets a 6-inch HD+ display panel, while J6 device come with a 5.6-inch HD+ display. The overall appeal of the smartphones sports sleek curves and an ergonomic design with elegant style and comfortable grip.

On the optics front, the Galaxy A6+ and J8 features a dual rear camera setup wherein the primary rear sensor is a 16MP while the secondary rear camera is a 5MP. The smartphone also gets a Live Focus feature which provides a stunning portraits with blur background. At the front, the smartphone comes with 24MP front shooter for selfies and video calling. Moreover, Galaxy A6 gets a 16 MP rear camera snapper while J6 features a 13MP rear camera with best in class low-aperture lenses providing sharp, clear photos in low light conditions. Upfront, both A6 and J8 smartphones gets 16MP camera whereas Galaxy J6 gets 8MP front shooter. Running on the atest Android operating system – Android Oreo, all the smartphones are available up to 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM variants expandable via external memory card. As far as the availability is concerned, the new Galaxy J6, A6 and A6+ will be made available for purchase across all the Samsung outlets as well Samsung eshop website from tomorrow onwards. Moreover, J6 smartphone will be available for purchasing online via Flipkart wheres the Galaxy A6 and A6+ smartphones will go on sale tomorrow exclusively on Amazon India. All the four devices in 3 exciting shades - Blue, Black & Gold will also be offered on Paytm Mall.

On the pricing front, the Galaxy A series featuring A6+, A6(4/64GB) & A6(4/32GB) are priced at Rs. 25,990, Rs. 22,990 and Rs. 21,990 respectively. Moreover, the buyers purchasing Galaxy A6+ and A6 via ICICI Bank credit cards or Paytm will receive an additional cashback of Rs. 3,000. While, the Galaxy J series with Galaxy J8, J6 (4/64GB) and J6 (3/32GB) variants are available with a price tag of Rs. 18,990, Rs. 16,490 and Rs. 13,990 respectively. The consumers purchasing Galaxy J8 and J6 via ICICI Bank credit and debit cards or Paytm will get an additional cashback of Rs. 1,500.
