Jaipur, August 29: The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) has released the detailed notification for Rajasthan Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2024 on their official website. The advertisement for the Graduation Level was released on August 6, and for the Senior Secondary Level was released on August 29.

The state-level examinations are conducted annually to shortlist candidates for various government jobs in the state of Rajasthan across seven departments. After the exams are conducted, a merit list is prepared based on which candidates are provisionally selected for the further recruitment process. The CET is a qualifying examination with an objective type question paper covering multiple subjects like General Awareness, English, Hindi, Science, Mathematics, etc.

Rajasthan CET 2024 Dates and Form Details

The RSMSSB has set the dates for the Graduation Level CET examination from September 21-24, 2024, while the Senior Secondary Level CET exams will be conducted from October 23-26, 2024. Candidates for the Graduation Level can apply online on the RSMSSB official website at rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in from August 9 till the last date on September 8, 2024. The Senior Secondary Level applications open from September 1 and candidates can fill the form till the last date is announced for the form closure.

Notification for Rajasthan Common Eligibility Test (CET) 2024

The application fee for the Rajasthan CET is INR 600 for the General, Other Backward Class (OBC) and Economically Backward Classes (EBC) Creamy Layer category candidates, whereas the fee is INR 400 for the Non-Creamy Layer of EBC and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates. The fee for the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) candidates is INR 400. The candidates have to pay the application fee in the online mode.

Eligibility for Rajasthan CET 2024

The age limit for the Rajasthan CET 2024 exam is between 18-40 years, as calculated on January 1, 2025. The number of seats depend on the number of vacancies notified by the exam board. The posts provided in the Graduation Level include Platoon Commander, Ziledar, Junior Accountant, Tehsil Revenue Accountant, Sub-Jailor, Hostel Superintendent, Village Development Officer (VDO), etc.

How to Apply for Rajasthan CET 2024

1. The candidate must visit the RSMSSB official website at rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in .

2. Click on the 'News Notification' tab on the website.

3. Select the correct exam in the dropdown and visit the link for registration.

4. Fill out the application form online, upload the required documents and pay the application fee.

5. Submit the Rajasthan CET application form.

6. Candidates can also take a printout of the form for future needs.
