RailYatri App Introduces New ‘Rush-O-Meter’ Feature to Predict Availability of Confirmed Railway Tickets for Any Train

The new feature named ‘rush-o-meter’ on the RailYatri application will help customers to book tickets on time in just a few clicks. Reports inform that this utility application is believed to be useful as it can prevent any kind of last minute difficulty caused to passengers due to unavailability of tickets.

New Delhi, July 11: In a big boon to customers who frequently use the Indian Railways to travel, travel app RailYatri is all set to solve your ticket issues! Travel startup RailYatri, on its app, has added a new feature which predicts the time in which confirmed tickets get sold out for every train without any hassle.

The new feature named ‘rush-o-meter’ on the RailYatri application will help customers to book tickets on time in just a few clicks. Reports inform that this utility application is believed to be useful as it can prevent any kind of last minute difficulty caused to passengers due to unavailability of tickets.

The RailYatri is the only application which tells users the speed of ticket booking for trains, thus helping customers book tickets within a fixed time period. With the newly launched feature, passengers can predict ticket booking data, the speed of booking tickets on long-distance trains and how soon tickets get sold out with regards to each train.

According to a report by Times Now inform that in the case of a few trains, the bookings are open even after months while for some popular trains, for which tickets get sold out in a matter of five to six hours.

The RailYatri application categorises trains in three sections – supersonic, subsonic and chuk-chuk. According to reports, the app suggests that tickets of supersonic trains are usually sold out within the first 12 hours while train tickets which get exhausted in 7-8 days have been placed under the subsonic category. On the other hand, those take a long duration to get booked are categorised in the Chuk-Chuk section.

Manish Rathi, founder and CEO of RailYatri informed that getting railway tickets confirmed is one of the main pain points faced by passengers and this feature will help bridge the gap.  "Everyday millions of travellers fail to get confirmed tickets which is one of the biggest pain points. This feature will exactly tell you by when or within how many hours or days you should book your ticket," he was quoted by IANS.

The RailYatri founder said while there are many who do predictions on ticket confirmation, RailYatri is the only application that will tell you the speed of ticket booking for trains and help you book at the right time. As the new feature has been introduced lately, its efficiency can be seen in days to come.
