Prostitution Racket Busted: Goa Police Rescue 2 Women at a Guesthouse in Anjuna

In April this year, the Calangute police busted an international prostitution racket here and arrested two pimps.

Goa, June 13: Goa Police has busted a prostitution racket at a guest house in Anjuna. According to an ANI report, three people have been arrested in connection with the case, and two women have been rescued. Further investigation is underway to know more about the case.

In April this year, the Calangute police busted an international prostitution racket here and arrested two pimps. They rescued five girls, including two from India. The remaining three were from Uzbekistan. The raid took place, following a tip-off that illegal activities were being carried out from a guest house.

In March, crime branch busted prostitution racket at Donapaula, where Crime Branch arrested 4 pimps and rescued two victim girls. Earlier this year, the Crime Branch, arrested a habitual offender involved in operating prostitution rackets in Goa, Kapil Sharma, near Sangolda. Four girls, three from Nepal and one from Mumbai, were rescued and lodged at the protection home in Merces.
