Mumbai, May 2: The verbal spat between Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the poll-bound Karnataka state is becoming fast and furious with each day passing. Both the parties are seen indulging in blame game by attacking each other in all possible ways, just to be in breaking news.

In the recent instance, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi in his pre-poll election rally on Tuesday, was heard praising the Janata Dal Secular (JDS) supremo Deve Gowda for his political leadership and seniority. He attacked Rahul Gandhi for disrespecting Deve Gowda while addressing the Tuesday, May 1, election rally. PM Modi taking the spat further remarked that, "Is this your Sanskaar (culture)? this is arrogance. What can we expect from a dynasty? Deve Gowda is among the tallest leaders of the country." After PM's attack on Rahul, BJP party leaders demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi. However, Congress party state spokesperson Randeep Surjewala slammed PM for his remark and claimed it as "Modinomics!"

Taking further the JDS-BJP pact rumour, state Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Congress party leaders raised eyebrows over PM Modi's sudden love for Gowda. CM Siddaramaiah questioned whether it is a sign of a secret pact between both the leaders and paerties?

PM has suddenly discovered love & respect for Shri HD Deve Gowda. Shri Modi had not long ago said he will send Shri Deve Gowda to a retirement home.

Meanwhile, Gowda refutes the news of secret pact with BJP and claimed PM Modi understands state issues, but his party will not ally with saffron.

He also slammed Congress for their remarks and claimed they had let down the Kannadigas in their regime.
