Indian Railways New Time Table From August 15, 2018: How to Check Revised Timings of Train Before Your Journey

This Independence Day, several trains will run on new times. The Indian Railways has issued a new timetable for many trains starting August 15, 2018.

New Delhi, August 14: This Independence Day, several trains will run on new timings as the Indian Railways has issued a new time-table for many trains starting August 15, 2018. The arrival and departure timings of several trains in all zones will change from Wednesday. Passengers have been advised by Indian Railways to check the new timings of their respective trains before their journey.

The Northern Railways has changed the timings of 201 trains. While 102 trains will now leave before the usual time, 58 trains will depart after their old prescribed time.

On Western Railways, seven new pairs of trains have been introduced including more Hamsafar and Mahamana Express trains. 20 Western Railway trains will be speeded up ranging from 5 minutes to 80 minutes. Eight passenger trains have been converted to MEMUs.

Passengers can check the complete new time table for trains online on indianrailways.gov.in. You can also call 139 or SMS Rail to 139 to confirm the new timing of the train you are supposed to travel on.
