Mother of a Minor Girl in Mumbai Files Rape Charges After Daughter Gets Pregnant, Boy Booked Under POCSO
The girl was suffering from stomach pain for quite sometime, and when she told her family about it, they ignored it.
Mumbai, May 21: The mother of a minor filed a rape charge against a 20-year-old youth for allegedly raping her daughter, which resulted in her getting pregnant. The case was registered post she delivered a baby girl on Wednesday. According to a Times of India report, charges under POCSO ACT have been slapped against the accused.
According to the complaint filed by the victim's mother, the accused had raped her daughter last September. The girl was suffering from stomach pain for quite some time, and when she told her family about it, they ignored it. However, when later she was taken to the doctor, it was found that she was pregnant.
The victim and the accused were in love, and they would often go to Ville Parle, and Santacruz. Police are trying their best to arrest the accused; they are going through all the call records of not only the accused but also the people connected with him.
