New Delhi, April 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday shared his thoughts with the people through his radio programme - 'Mann Ki Baat' programme. It must be noted that this is Modi's 43rd edition of the Mann Ki Baat programme. The radio programme will broadcast on All India Radio (AIR), Doordarshan and also on the Narendra Modi mobile application.
On Sunday, the Prime Minister urged everyone to be a part of his radio programme. "There are many such efforts by hardworking citizens that make India proud. Let us talk about them during #MannKiBaat at 11 AM today. Do join", he tweeted.
During his address, PM Modi congratulated the athletes at 2018 Commonwealth Games and said that they have lived up to the expectations of the country & won medal after medal. He congratulated all the shooters for making India proud during the Commonwealth Games 2018. "It was a fantastic performance in 2018 Commonwealth Games", he said.
Commending female athletes on their stellar showing at the CWG, PM Modi said: "Our women athletes have India very proud." With 26 Gold medals and a total of 66 medals, India finished third in the Commonwealth Games this year. "Deepak Lather became the youngest Indian weightlifter to win a medal and 15-yr-old shooter AnishBhanwala is the youngest Indian to win a CWG gold", he added.
During his address, PM Modi asked students to join the Swachh Bharat Summer Internship 2018, designed by three ministries. He announced the launch of the government's special summer internship linked to the Swachh Bharat (Clean India) campaign. I urge the college students, NCC and NSS youth, students of Nehru Yuva Kendra to come forward and contribute towards the welfare of society," PM Modi said.

Talking about the importance of Yoga, PM Modi said Yoga is a wonderful way to remain fit. "Let us think about ways to make the 4th YogaDay memorable", he said. "Last month I urged people to take part in the Fit India movement. I am glad about the overwhelming support for the movement", he added.
During his address, PM Modi took us back 20 years in time to 11th May 1998, Buddha Purnima day, when the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government had tested its nuclear capability & the then PM’s address to the nation that surcharged the whole country with pride, courage and elation.

Reports inform that Union Minister Vijay Goel will join the Prime Minister's programme, along with the people of Village Bharthal, at the residence of former Nigam Parishad, Ramniwas, in Sector 26, Dwarka, Delhi.
It must be noted that in his 42nd edition, Modi emphasised on preventive health care awareness, stating that extensive work is going on to set up Health Wellness Centres across the country.
