Man From Bihar's Aurangabad District Kills 3-Month-Old Son as Baby Did Not Resemble Him

Patna, June 25: A shocking incident took place in Bihar's Aurangabad district where a 32-year-old man allegedly murdered his three-month-old son on Sunday. According to a report published in Hindustan Times, the 32-year-old accused Raushan Lathore killed his son as he suspected that the baby was not his biological child because he reportedly “did not resemble” him.

Lathore is a farmer from Dhanaura village. As per police, he believed that his wife, Kuldhan Devi was having an extra-marital affair. According to the report, Lathore allegedly snatched the baby from his mother when he was being fed and killed him. He then began beating his wife. The neighbours not rescued Devi from Lathore. The neighbours even thrashed the accused before handing him over to the police. Lathore’s wife filed a complaint against him. The police arrested him based on the complaint filed.

The 32-year-old man used to verbally abuse his wife since the time she gave birth to the baby. The three-month-old infant was couple’s first baby. According to the report, Lathore even used to raise questions on his wife’s character and also assaulted her many times before.

Station house officer of the Tandwa police station, Sajid Hussain told Hindustan Times, “Ever since the birth of the child, Lathore refused to accept him as his biological son. He would also question the character of his wife and torture her on suspicion of bearing an illegitimate child.”
