Mumbai, April 29: In a shocking incident, two Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) workers were shot dead by bike-borne assailants in Maharashtra. As per reports, the incident took place on Saturday in Ahmednagar. The two deceased NCP youth wing workers have been identified as Yogesh Ralebhat (29) and Rakesh Ralebhat (28).
A police investigation has been initiated into the case. As per reports, the assailants came on a bike and shot bullets from a countrymade small firearm while the deceased was sitting outside their shop at Jamner in the evening, said the police.

Reports state that a total of eight bullets were shot on both of them. Soon after, they ere rushed to the hospital but succumbed to injuries while they were being treated.
The deadly incident comes three weeks after two Shiv Sena members were brutally murdered at Kedgaon in Ahmednagar. The two Shiv Sena leaders were identified as Sanjay Kotkar (35) and Vasant Anand Thube (40). Reports state that the leaders were shot at hours after the result of a civic bypoll in the area was announced. NCP MLA Sangram Jagtap, a suspected shooter, and two more persons were arrested in connection with the killings.
