Bhopal, Jan 17: Polling is underway today to elect members for 20 urban bodies - municipal councils (nagar palika parishads) and town councils (nagar parishads) - in five districts of Madhya Pradesh. Pollsters are glued to this round of civic elections as it is considered to be a litmus test for the ruling Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led government ahead of the assembly polls later in 2018.
