Three LeT terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Chattabal area of Srinagar today. One civilian was also reported killed in clashes that erupted between protesters and security forces near the encounter site in the densely populated. One Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer was injured during the gunfight. He was rushed immediately to the hospital. The encounter broke out in the morning when security forces cordoned off the area after getting information about the presence of terrorists in the area. The state police and CRPF personnel conducted a joint operation.
