Jammu and Kashmir, April 6: In a heinous act of crime in the valley, Lashkar-e-Taiba militants decapitated a 24-year-old shepherd and according to reports threw his body outside Hajin in North Kashmir's Bandipora district. The terrorists kidnapped the youngster and his father named , Manzoor Ahmed Bhat and Abdul Gaffar Bhat. The militants forcibly entered the Bhat house and on late night of April 4. The father is said to have escaped with gunshot wounds and the son- Manzoor Ahmed Bhat was abducted and taken to an isolated location.
The Police said that the body of Manzoor Ahmed Bhat was found without his head on the outskirts of Hajin. The body was recovered on Friday morning by the police. The Kashmir Police Zone tweeted that "The dead body of Manzoor Ahmed Bhat who was abducted by the terrorists of outlawed LeT in the intervening night of 4/5 April was found on the outskirts of Hajin today. Exhibiting its brand of brutality, the terrorists have left the body headless."
The police also informed that before the abduction of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, the terrorists roughed up the family members. Police believes that the terrorist at the center of this incident is the local terrorist Mohommad Saleem Parrey.
This is the second act of brutality by the terrorists in Hajin. On Monday too the terrorists had stormed into the house of Farooq Ahmad Parrey and started firing randomly. Reports claim that women in the house were attacked with knives and a member of the family was abducted in Bandipora district. The suspicion is again on Mohommad Saleem Parrey. The police is on the lookout for the terrorist and further investigations are being conducted in the case.
