New Delhi, May 24: A captured Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Zaibullah has made shocking revelations in an interrogation carried out by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Zaibullah was arrested on April 7 from a house in Jugdiyal area in Kupwara. He told NIA that they were asked to dump arms in a forested area before crossing over to Pakistan.
According to a report published in The Times of India, the 20-Year-old terrorist revealed that Hafiz Saeed led LeT student wing – Al Muhammadia Students (AMS) has developed a mobile handset meant exclusively for communication by LeT members with each other. A special chip is devised, which once put in a headset automatically connects with the nearest mobile tower, irrespective of the telecom service provider. Then calls made using this handset cannot be traced by Indian intelligence agencies.
Zaibullah revealed that Hafeez Saeed used to give motivational talks to the new terror recruits. He said, “We can take weapons including pistols, AK 47s, grenade launchers and other arms. At two separate occasions, Hafeez Saeed and Zakir Oman Naqvi gave us a motivating talk. We were also given 2 months training in the snow.”
According to the captured terrorists, Pakistan is also smuggling arms into the Indian side of the Line of Control (LoC). He also said that he was posted in Indian border till the Indian Army fired which made him and his fellow terrorists return to Pakistan. According to News agency ANI, Zaibullah said, “We also went to Chatabata post, planted put mines on army’s supply route, blasted the mines in which 2 Indian army jawans were killed.”
The 20-year-old terrorist also revealed that the young boys are being radicalised in the name of Burhan Wani. According to the report, Zaibullah told NIA during the interrogation, “Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) runs an underground training camp in Muzaffarabad forest area in PoK “exclusively for the training of the suicide squads”.
