Mumbai, July 18: The Maharashtra government launched the Ladla Bhai Yojana for unemployed youths on Wednesday, July 17, after Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana meant for girls and women. Announcing the Ladla Bhai Yojana at an event in Pandharpur on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stated, "This is the first time in history that the state government has initiated such a scheme." Under this scheme, young men will be given factory apprenticeships, and the government will offer them a stipend. Ladla Bhai Yojana Eligibility Criteria

To get benefits from Ladla Bhai Yojana, one must meet the eligibility criteria, which are as follows:

  • The youth availing of the scheme must be residents of Maharashtra.

  • The youth must have passed 12th grade, have a diploma, or be a graduate.

  • One must be unemployed and should not be working for any other organisation.

  • The applicant should have the required documents, which include a domicile certificate, caste certificate, Aadhar card, bank account copy, and the qualification mark sheet corresponding to the highest qualification attained.

The scheme offers financial aid to unemployed youth based on their educational qualifications. Under this scheme, male students who have finished 12th grade will receive a monthly stipend of INR 6,000.
