Komal Nahta Blames It On The Producers After Ronnie Screwvala Tweets About Inflated Box Office Numbers

Inflated box office numbers are something we have heard too often in the industry. From Krrish 3 to Race 3, many have been accused of dishing out hiked numbers. Perhaps for the first time, a question was asked about it and that has trade analysts putting across their side of the story. We told you that Akshaye Rathi, another trade expert, replied to the tweet saying that these numbers shouldn't even be out in the public domain. Now we have Komal Nahta's reaction as well. He puts the blame on producers ever so politely.

That’s asking for too much in India in general.Nothing will be achieved till producers decide to be honest.Finally,the source of information is producers/distributors/exhibitors. If they don’t stop providing inflated figures, getting real figures will be an uphill task for anyone
