New Delhi, January 17: The Bhoiwada Court on Wednesday sent all the four accused of Kamala Mills fire to Judicial custody till 31st January. The four accused include -Yug Pathak, Jigar Sanghvi, Kripesh Sanghvi and Abhijit Mankar.  On Tuesday, Yug Tuli, co-owner of Mojo's Bistro pub surrendered before the Mumbai Police after evading arrest since the last two weeks. Tuli, a Nagpur based businessman along with his partner Yug Pathak, the son of former Pune Police Commissioner K K Pathak, was booked under sections of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

To recall, two other owners of the restaurant, brothers Jigar Sanghvi and Kripesh Sanghvi were arrested last week. Their information was provided to the Police by a Juhu-based hotelier Vishal Kariya.  Kariya was arrested the same day for sheltering the duo. He was booked under Section 216 of the Indian Penal Code for harbouring an offender after the police found an Audi car belonging to prime accused Abhijeet Mankar, co-owner of the '1 Above' pub, at his residence. Reports by Police said that the Sanghvi brothers were arrested from suburban Andheri while Mankar was arrested earlier today from Marine Lines area of the city.

On January 10, the Bhoiwada magistrate court remanded him to police custody till January 17. Reports stated that Police has also recovered a high-end car of accused Mankar from the Juhu residence of Kariya.

The massive Kamala Mills Fire took place on December 29. The deadly fire swept through 1 Above and the adjacent Mojo's Bistro resto-pub at the Kamala Mills compound, resulting in the death of 14 people. Reports by Mumbai Fire Brigade stated that the massive fire possibly started at Mojo’s Bistro due to the flying embers of a hookah and spread to 1 Above.
