After observing Ramzan ceasefire, security forces have resumed military operation in the Kashmir Valley. The centre had suspended all military operations in the valley in the holy month of Ramzan as a goodwill gesture, but terrorist activities did not decrease during that period. Within a week after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pulled out of the alliance with People’s Democratic Party (PDP), six terrorists have been eliminated so far.
