Srinagar, June 15: Three people including two police personnel have been injured in a terrorist attack at police naka party in Srinagar on Friday. No terror organisation has claimed responsibility for that attack. The attack has come just a day after Indian Army Rifleman Aurangzeb and journalist Shujat Bukhari were killed by terrorists.

Yesterday, Central Reserve Police Force vehicle in Jammu and Kashmir was also pelted with stones after it allegedly hit a motorcycle. According to reports, the Centre is likely not going to extend Ramzan ceasefire. Security meeting was held at Rajnath’s residence on June 13.  Director General of Police (DGP) of Jammu and Kashmir, SP Vaid was also present at the meeting. Security arrangements during Amarnath Yatra were also discussed.

On May 16, the Centre has decided to suspend all military operations in the Kashmir Valley during the holy month of Ramzan. Terror attacks during this period have increased. Grenades have lobbed at security personnel during this period. Today, Home minister Rajnath Singh will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss security concerns in the valley.
