The MI vs CSK match today is expected to witness massive footfall. All the tickets were sold out 10 days prior to the event. The minimum tickets were priced at Rs 800.
Traffic congestion is caused each year in Mumbai after high-profile IPL matches at either the Wankhede or the Brabourne stadium.
In a bid to avert the traffic inconvenience caused, MI matches in earlier editions of IPL were held at the Dr D Y Patil stadium in neighbouring Navi Mumbai.
