Mumbai, August 20: The India Post released the first merit list of Gramik Dak Sevak (GDS) recruitment 2024 today, August 20. Candidates who applied for the India Post GDS recruitment drive can check the results by visiting the official website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Circle-wise merit lists containing the registration numbers of the selected candidates are published on the site.

Applicants can also check circle-wise and category-wise merit list on website such as indiapostgdsonline.cept.gov.in. It must be noted that selected candidates must appear for physical verification after the merit lists are announced. The merit list has been released for postal circles, including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and West Bengal. Other circle results are likely to be out soon. The India Post GDS recruitment drive is being held to fill 44,228 Gramik Dak Sevak vacancies across its 23 postal circles.

Steps to Check India Post GDS Merit List 2024:

  • Visit the official website of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

  • Click on the "India Post GDS Merit List 2024" link on the homepage.

  • Enter using your credentials and other details.

  • A PDF file will open.

  • Check your name and roll number.

  • Download the PDF file or take a printout for future reference

According to reports, the Gramik Dak Sevak merit lists have been released only for 12 circles. Only candidates whose names appear in the first merit list will be required to appear for physical verification. India Post began the registration process for GDS recruitment on July 15, with the last date of application being August 5. The correction window was opened on August 6 and closed on August 8 for candidates to make necessary changes in their application forms.
