New Delhi, August 30: The Income Tax department had extended the deadline to file Income Tax Return (ITR) from July 31 to August 31. If you still haven't filed your ITR, you should hurry up as tomorrow is the last date. Here are 7 websites which will make submitting your ITR easier.
incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in: The official portal to the submit your ITR manually, at no additional cost. A step-by-step procedure is available on the website.
cleartax.in: In case of complexities involving your tax assessment, assessees can avail the services of Clear Tax, considering its specially user-designed interface. The website also offers online CA services.
taxspanner.com: Asessees with complicated ITRs may find it a cumbersome task to submit returns via the official portal. In such scenarios, experts recommend taking help of taxspanner.com. However, the website offers paid services. For manual submission, it charges Rs 249. The fees gets multiplied if online CA services are availed.
myitreturn.com: My IT Return offers online services to the assessees including generation of rent receipt, keeping a tab on refund status and generating Form 12BB. The website also has a clean interface which makes returns filing easier.
taxsmile.com: The website offers free online return filing services after the user signs up. However, it charges the user thereupon for 'assisted filing'. The fee starts at Rs 499.
