If you want to search your name in the electoral roll, then you will have to first visit the National Voters’ Service Portal (NVSP) official website, i.e. www.nvsp.in. The option to check your name in the electoral is on the left column of the site; where you will have to fill your details.
How to track my Voting Card’s Application Status?
If you want to track your Application Status, then you will have to visit NVSP’s website mentioned above. To find the option of tracking your ‘Application Status’, you will to scroll down a bit and find the ‘Application Status’ button, which in the under a red magnifying glass icon. How to know District Election Officer (DEO), Electoral Registration Officer (REO), and Booth Level Officer (BLO)?
If you want to know about your DEO, REO, and BLO, then you can find it on NVSP’s official site. You can find the find the information by filling the details in the option given on the far-right hand side of the website.
Where do I apply online for registration of new voter due to change in my Assembly Constituency (AC)?
Voters can get their addresses changed and have new voter ID cards issued. For that, they will have to visit NSVP’s site and look for a blue-hand icon. Then you will have to click on the ‘Form6’ button to register.
I am an overseas voter; can I apply online for voter’s registration?
If you are an overseas voter and looking to register online, then you will have to log on to www.nsvp.in and search for a ‘red-pencil’ icon. Under it, you will see the ‘Form6A’ button, where you will have to click to begin your process.
Do you have any objection in the electoral roll or your name is missing from it?
You do not have to worry if you have any objection or want to get any information deleted or changed from the electoral roll. After logging on to NSVP’s website, you will see the ‘blue-tick’ icon and ‘purple-eye’ icon in the first two rows; there, you can your fill your details after clicking on either of Form7’or ‘Form8’.
What is the helpline number of Election Commission?
If you have any query regarding your eligibility to vote in Lok Sabha Polls 2019, then you can simply dial the voter helpline number 1950 and get all your doubts cleared. You can also get the information through SMS. You will to message ECICONTACT <EPIC NUMBER> to 1950, where Epic Number is your voter card number. Or you can simply download the ‘Voter Helpline’ application on your mobile phone and get all your queries solved.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the schedule 2019 Lok Sabha Elections on March 10. The upcoming General Elections will take place in seven phases, starting from April 11 and the last being on May 19. The results are scheduled to be declared on May 23.
