Panchkula, February 15: In a horrifying mishap, a woman died on Wednesday after her hair got entangled in the rear wheels of a go-kart, ripping her scalp off. The woman identified as Puneet Kaur hailed from Rampura Phul city of Bathinda district. What would have been an exciting family outing turned out a tragedy when Puneet’s hair got stuck in the wheel and caused the fatal accident. As per reports, the incident took place in an amusement park adjacent to Yadavindra Gardens in Pinjore.

Puneet Kaur, 28, who is a resident of Rampura Phul in Bathinda had gone to the park in Pinjore with her husband Amardeep Singh, two-year-old son and a few other family members.  As per reports, the incident took place when the couple was about to complete the first lap when her hair flew out of her bun and got stuck in a rear wheel. The family had booked four go-karts for six members. Puneet Kaur was with her husband in one kart and her son was in another with his grandmother.

The go-karting in Pinjore is being run for almost 20 years now. As per reports, Puneet was on a vacation with her family and had decided to stop at Pinjore Gardens for the amusement park on their way back from Timber Trail in Parwanoo. Reports by sources inform that Puneet was wearing a helmet but her hair came loose and entangled in the chain set of the go-kart.

The family members and visitors who watched the incident were in great shock as her scalp was pulled out as the go-kart moved on. Puneet was rushed to a private hospital. She was then reffered to a General Hospital, Sector 6 in Panchkula. However, she was declared brought dead.
