Vadodara, June, 22: In a shocking incident, class nine student was found murdered in school washroom in Vadodara on Friday. The incident has been reported from Shree Bharti Vidyalaya in Baranpora area. The 14-year-old student was stabbed multiple times by knife in the stomach.
The boy’s body was found soaked in blood in the school’s washroom around mid-day. The body has been sent for post-mortem. The police have started probing the murder. CCTV footage will also be used by the police to nab the murderer.
In a similar type of incident, in September last year, a seven-year-old student was found murdered in the washroom of Ryan International School in Gurugram. The seven-year-old boy, Pradyuman Thakur was found with his throat slit outside school’s washroom just minutes after he reached the school. In police investigation, questions on the security at the school were raised.
Initially, the driver of the school bus was arrested for committing the crime. The driver was also alleged of sexual assault. Later, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested 16-year-old student for murdering Pradyuman. Juvenile Justice Board decided to treat the teen as an adult in the case.
