Mumbai, Apr 2: A minor fire erupted in Mumbai's Laxmi Industrial Estate on Monday. The blaze broke out after two shops caught fire. At least three fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse off the flames.
The Laxmi Industrial Estate is one of the densely populated commercial parks in Mumbai's western region of Andheri. The fire raised alarms as hundreds of establishments are located in the vicinity.
The flames was brought under control by the time this report was first published. No casualties were reported.

Reports claim the fire broke out at 11:41 am. Subsequently, congestion was witnessed at the Western Express Highway as the fire tenders and ambulance were rushed to the spot.
A week earlier, a blaze in Mumbai's Chembur region left one person dead and two toddlers seriously injured. The fire had broken in the Rajiv Nagar slum locality.
