Chennai, January 10: A 22-year-old Finnish woman was found dead in a hotel in the Himalayas Residency hotel in Chennai's Triplicane, on Wednesday morning.
She had booked the hotel, along with her boyfriend, also a Finland national, on Tuesday.
The incident came to light when the woman was found unconscious by her boyfriend in morning. She was later declared dead. The reason for her death is found out to be an overdose of drugs and alcohol. An investigation into the matter is underway. Further details are awaited.
