New Delhi, March 22: In a first of its kind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had penned down insights in his new book 'Exam Warriors’ to help students deal with exam pressure. The book was launched on February 3, 2018 by HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi. ‘Exam Warriors’ has been published by Penguin Random House in multiple languages. Through the book, the Prime Minister hopes to become a friend of the students and guide them as they prepare for the examinations, the publishers had told PTI.

Thanking the Prime Minister for making this book available for them, students from across the nation expressed affection and gratitude saying that the book helped them release stress during their board exams.  A student from Chennai named Anagha Hemaraj said, “I never thought a Prime Minister would write a book for children. Modiji is the best”. She further added saying, “If children were allowed to vote, I would vote for Modiji.”

Another student named Jayesh said he was stressed too much with exam pressure but after reading the book, his life changed. “Today I am in fresh mind and no negative thoughts in brain”, he added.  The book is a compilation of the Prime Minister’s advice to students on busting exam stress in his monthly radio programme, Mann ki Baat. Swaraj described in detail the 25 mantras given in the book for students by the Prime Minister and urged them to read the book. Meanwhile, Human Resources Development Minister Prakash Javadekar had said, “This book will help the students in beating stress. It is for everyone — not only for students but also for their parents.”

It must be noted that the book is available on the “Narendra Modi app” and students can communicate with the Prime Minister through it. The book comes in wake of class 10, 12 board exams that were held nationwide in March 2018. The book aims to calm students as they go through tremendous pressure for the board exams. 'With his vision for ensuring their success he has put India on a path of change and we at Penguin Random House India are excited to be working together to bring his thoughts to the nation and beyond, said Gaurav Shrinagesh, CEO of Penguin Random House India.
