Talking about the Sunderbani encounter, J&K DGP, SP Vaid, said the group of four terrorists had recently infiltrated from the LOC. The joint operation saw the security forces counter militants in J&K’s Rajouri district.
SP Vaid said, “ Four terrorists were killed in a joint-operation in Sunderbani, in Rajouri. It was a group recently infiltrated from LOC.”
There were reports that the gunfight between the two sides was on since the early Wednesday morning; eventually, the militants were successfully eliminated on the same day during the evening hours.
